DAY 30

well, our group didnt present. damn. out of like, 13 groups, ours was the only one who didn't present. everyone else's looked not bad though, except for one, which i will not name, but that work is the only one that we can compare with, with all our undone work. yea, sure, we would have kicked ass if we finished, but we didn't and that's that. we were too ambitious. sigh. i don't wanna compare with people below me, but i try to aim for crewsade level. their's was the best, i tell you, good thing they presented last. if they were the minimum passing standard everyone else would have failed. terribly. just some more terrible than others. their's was...fantastic. the only one where everyone actually clapped and meant it.

betty's group didn't do very bad either, actually, their's looked quite interesting, to thijnk i was in their group before going over to jake's. ah well, it's over.

i think today was the lowest point for all of us. after the presentation i jsut left them and walked to the six floor to do my MultimediaFundamentals work. didn't really want to talk to anyone. better now though, at jeremy's house, doing the MMfund. i could swear that if andrea and i didnt have this morning class we would have done much better. but then again, maybe its all to do with time management. ah well, if i fail, then, try again next year? at least i learnt something. some people are celebrating moving on to year 2, but i'm not so sure. heck, end of MOI P1 journal.

DAY 29

wow, D-Day is just tomorrow, or wait, jsut a few hours , actually, it's past midnight. now i'm at andrea's house, jake too. staying over to rush everything. seems kinda last minute but so far it looks like we'll make it. at least im praying hard we will. angie's not here, her parents wouldnt let her stay over, so shes coming around 4am. her dad's fetching her i think. hope she'll be awake then though..

alright. plans. animation short by angie and andrea has been turned into a trailer, due to time constraints. i'm almost done with my trailer. done, actually, cause i think it looks nice, but the others don't agree. ah well... jake's 3d character is gone, now he's helping me with the editing of everything. dammit he got a new mac too.. and yea, that;s about it. we're really rushing now. i don't know if it's anyone's fault in particular, but yea, we slacked. majorly. time for regrets now.

yesterday we tried doing voiceovers, but last minute i had a call, so i couldnt do it then, so they decided to go ahead with jake's host first. by the time i was gonna put down i saw the three of them sitting there, not doing anything, so i thought somethign was wrong, and soon after angie and andrea left quickly, and jake was packing up. turns out the voiceovers would sound too fake. dammit. i still think we should have done it though, that's my stand. better sound fake than sound like crap. thinking of the others, especially raj, kinda gets me down. crewsade is like, done already, and greg keeps asking us things liek what are we doing, as if taunting us. ARGH! ok, gonna work on the rest of the things now.

DAY 25

wow, five more days. sorry, haven't been updating much, cause there's been a lot going on, not just in P1. there was alumni night, and some random personal things i had to take care of, but yea, back to blogging.

so far, our group's progress SEEMS to be ok. i'm not too sure about everyone, cause so far i'm half done with editing and i hope the rest are doing their parts. heard jake has some problems with his 3d character, said something about not including him if there's no time. i agree with that, jsut that i hope he really tries his best to do it, cause a 3d guy will be quite a nice thing to see.

can't really go far with editing cause i have to use andrea's mac to do it, she has all the software. i tried to get my hands on special "educational packages" but so far it hasn't really worked for me. shoiuld have gotten a mac instead of this dumb dell. screw vista.

so now, i'm jsut trying my best to finish on time and yea, looks like its ok so far :)
